लक्षद्वीपLakshadweepअरब सागर — लक्षद्वीपArabian Sea — Lakshadweep36 प्रवाल द्वीप36 coral islandsप्रवाल (Coral) से बने एटॉल और प्रवाल भित्तियाँ — बहुत नीचे और समतल। केरल तट से लगभग 200–440 किमी दूर; कुल क्षेत्रफल केवल लगभग 32 वर्ग किमी; नारियल के पेड़ बहुतायत में। पहले तीन समूह-नाम थे — लक्कदीव, मिनिकॉय, अमीनदीवी। राजधानी कवरत्ती; सबसे बड़ा द्वीप एन्ड्रोट; मिनिकॉय सबसे दक्षिणी और दूसरा सबसे बड़ा।
